Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1 cup milk

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 (16-ounce) package elbow macaroni, cooked and drained

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and mustard and stir until combined.

3. Gradually stir in the milk and cook until the sauce thickens. Add the cheddar cheese, salt and pepper and stir until the cheese is melted.

4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Pour the macaroni and cheese into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

5. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

6. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
